When possible technical causes of the debt are ruled out, the figure of the professional debt collector acquires a vital importance. The successful debt recovery will mostly depend on his/her personal abilities (good communication skills, persistence and motivation among others) and his/her technical skills (language command, persuasion, negotiation skills, time management, methodology, etc.).
In ADARVE we attach high importance to our agents’ recruitment processes and subsequently to their professional training. We continuously evaluate their results, their competence and their achieved targets. Such methods allow us to apply a bonus remuneration system which makes debt recovery more efficient.
Together with the professionalism of our agents, we possess the latest technical systems for the monitoring and control of unpaid accounts.
Our aim is a negotiated settlement of the debt as the fastest, cheapest and most efficient way to recover debts. We gradually increase the pressure over the debtor using all available means for a successful debt recovery (tracking down, sending letters, telegrams and even paying personal visits to the debtor’s home when the amount of the debt justifies such means).
After unsuccessful negotiations, we carry out an analysis of the debtor’s solvency, verifying his/ her labour situation and whether he/she is the holder of any attachable assets (subject to seizure).
Once we are past the agreed deadline without achieving the recovery of the debt -180 days are recommended, minimum 120 days- we return the file to the client with the complete information about the carried out management, recommending either to write-off the case for lack of solvency or to start judicial proceeding for the debt recovery, in which case upon the client’s agreement we will prepare all the necessary documents for filing suit.
Like for the telephone debt collection, we issue a daily report, accessible on-line, on the status of the entrusted accounts. The report can be adapted to the client’s needs.
